Led by Oregon-based photographer, Kent J. Edwards, we specialize in sports, event, and portrait photography. On every shoot, we seek to create impactful expressions that gratify our clients. We connect with our subjects on a personal level and capture images that will tell thousands of stories and ultimately last forever. Kent’s creative journey began in 2018, sparked by the simple need for a fine arts credit for school. Through his coursework, Kent unlocked his genuine passion for art and the power of photography. There was an instantaneous connection the moment he acquired his first camera—he was in love! However, he quickly realized that the traditional photography education pathway was not the appropriate avenue for his creative development. As a result, he took a leap of faith and decided to learn on his own. Over the next year, online resources became his classroom. He rapidly inhaled everything he could about his new craft and took every opportunity possible to expand his capabilities. As his camera molded into his hands, it became a part of him and shortly after, Caught by Kent was born.
